Prêmio Joaquim da Costa Ribeiro

The Prêmio Joaquim da Costa Ribeiro recognizes researchers for career contributions to condensed matter physics and materials physics in Brazil. Nominations are submitted by members of the Sociedade Brasileira de Física and evaluated by the SBF Area Committee for Condensed Matter and Materials Physics. Nominations must include the candidate's CV and a text describing the candidate's contribution, submitted in English. The prize commemorates Joaquim da Costa Ribeiro, a pioneer in Brazilian condensed matter physics.

Researchers who have made contributions over their career to condensed matter and materials physics in Brazil may be nominated. Nominations may be made by any SBF member or group of members and must include the candidate's CV and a text describing the contribution, in English.
