Thermal Hydraulic Meritorious Service Award

The Thermal Hydraulic Meritorious Service Award recognises an individual for sustained and exemplary service to the nuclear thermal-hydraulic profession. Emphasis is placed on sustained, well-recognized service contributions over a number of years, though single exceptional one-time contributions may be considered. The award consists of an engraved plaque and a monetary award of $1,000 and is presented at the ANS Annual Conference.

Nominees must have been a registered Thermal Hydraulics Division (THD) member in good standing for at least the previous three years and must demonstrate an individual or sustained contribution in one or more specified service areas. Nominations require a completed nomination form, a letter of recommendation, a 500–1000 word narrative, lists of ANS activities and publications (if applicable), a CV, and optional support letters (no more than five).
