Information

The AIRC Non-Resident Research Fellowship is a four-month, unpaid programme hosted by the AI Research Centre at Woxsen University. It supports early-career researchers in conducting research at the intersection of artificial intelligence and the social sciences, with an emphasis on producing publishable outputs and benefiting from an institutional affiliation. Fellows work within a research cluster and develop a research agenda aligned with both the Centre’s priorities and their own doctoral or postdoctoral work.

Benefits

The fellowship is honorary and unpaid; it provides institutional affiliation and opportunities for research outputs but does not provide financial support.

Eligibility

Applicants should have completed a master's degree (e.g., MPhil, MS or research master's), be currently enrolled in a PhD program, or have completed a doctorate, with a background in a field relevant to AI and the social sciences and a track record of published work.

Application

Submit a research proposal (1,000–1,500 words), a statement of purpose (max 500 words), a CV (max 3 pages), a writing sample, proof of qualification or PhD enrolment, and details of one academic referee.
