The United Nations Sustainable Development Group System-Wide Evaluation Office (SWEO) offers a six-month internship beginning January 2027. The placement provides hands-on experience in evaluation, research and data analysis within the UN system, with option for in-person or remote work and both full-time or part-time arrangements. Interns work under experienced Evaluation Officers and contribute to system-wide evaluations and related activities.

Research experience in evaluation and data analysis; mentorship from Evaluation Officers; exposure to international development work; flexibility for in-person or remote work; development of analytical and organizational skills.

Open to students enrolled in a qualifying university degree programme or graduates with a qualifying degree, with preference for backgrounds in social sciences, economics or public administration.
