CODESRIA Research Grants on University Ecosystems 2027

The CODESRIA Research Grants on University Ecosystems offers funding for research proposals examining higher education in Africa, including topics such as gender equality, academic freedom, and the quality of associational life in universities. The programme supports innovative research from African researchers affiliated with recognized institutions, with grants ranging from US$5,000 to US$15,000 and a planned 15-month research period. Projects should address how universities interact with social, political, economic, and cultural environments and aim to inform policy and institutional reforms.
