UK Advanced Chip Design Academy

The UK Advanced Chip Design Academy is a national training centre hosted at the University of Edinburgh to boost the UK’s ability to design, develop and test semiconductor chips. It will give UK-based researchers access to commercial chip-design tools and opportunities to prototype, fabricate and test their designs. The Academy aims to connect academic research with advanced semiconductor manufacturing and provide a lasting domestic training capability to support development of UK semiconductor and AI hardware companies.

UK-based researchers will be given access to the Academy's facilities and training.
