Colansa Fund for Healthy Food Environments in Latin America

The Colansa Fund for Healthy Food Environments in Latin America provides grant funding to support projects that promote healthy, sustainable, equitable and inclusive food systems in Latin America. It awards funding through a Research Line (up to two projects of up to USD 130,000 net each) and an Advocacy Line (up to two projects of up to USD 100,000 net each). Eligible applicants are local civil society or grassroots organisations, research centres and academic institutions legally constituted in specified Latin American countries.

Grant awards: Research Line grants up to USD 130,000 net; Advocacy Line grants up to USD 100,000 net.

Local civil society or grassroots organisations, research centres and academic institutions legally constituted in one of the eligible countries; minimum six months as a formalised legal entity; demonstrated experience in food environments or related areas. Individuals may not apply. Colansa membership is not required; Colansa Board members are excluded.
