Urban Treasures — EEA photo competition 2024

The European Environment Agency (EEA) invites nature and photography enthusiasts to submit entries for the Urban Treasures photo competition. The theme focuses on capturing the essence of cities and towns, highlighting eco-friendly and livable neighborhoods, with several prize categories and a public choice element. Entries are judged by a pre-selection committee and an external jury, with winners announced later in the year.

Monetary prizes for category winners and special awards; public and youth prizes; rights to use submitted photos by the EEA in its materials.

The competition is open to citizens of the EU27 Member States, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, and Türkiye; photographs must be taken in the specified countries; entrants must be 18 or older; applicants must hold full copyrights to submitted material.
