Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarship 2027

The RTP Scholarship is a fully funded Australian Government program providing support for eligible universities to award scholarships to outstanding students pursuing Research Master’s and Doctoral (PhD) degrees. It is open to domestic and international students, with funding covering tuition, living costs and research-related expenses. Applications are submitted through participating Australian universities, which manage their own RTP scholarship selection processes.

Full tuition fee offset, annual living stipend, research-related allowances, thesis and publication support, health insurance (where applicable), relocation assistance (at some universities), international student support services

Eligible applicants are domestic and international students pursuing Higher Degree by Research (HDR) programs (Master’s by Research and PhD).
