Applications are open for the Urban Studies Foundation International Fellowships 2026. The scheme aims to advance global urban studies by supporting early-career urban scholars, providing accommodation and subsistence during the host visit, return travel, and assistance towards some research costs, with a small additional budget for the Mentor to engage with the Fellow’s home institution and networks.

Eligibility
Applicants must be early-to-mid-career urban scholars holding a PhD awarded within the preceding ten calendar years and must be nationals of OECD DAC recipient countries affiliated to a research organization in one of those countries.
Application
Submit an application including applicant information, proposed fellowship details, budget with evidence for items over GBP 500, research proposal, CVs from the applicant and mentor, and a mentor letter.
