Political Communication Summer School 2026: Study Media, Politics & Democracy in Europe

The International Summer School of Political Communication 2026 is an intensive, in-person program hosted in 2026 at the University of Leeds. It brings together PhD candidates and early-career researchers to study media, politics, and democracy through lectures, masterclasses, research presentations, and mentorship, with opportunities to present work and network with scholars from around the world.

Participation in lectures, masterclasses, and workshops; research presentation and feedback; mentorship; opportunities to network with global scholars; housing and meals included during the program.

Open to PhD candidates, early-career researchers, and scholars in related fields such as communication, sociology, psychology, or political science.

Submit a research proposal or extended abstract (max 3 pages), CV, short academic bio, and a recommendation letter; applications are reviewed by an international academic committee.
