Future of Energy Conference (FEC) Innovation Challenge 2026

The Future of Energy Conference (FEC) Innovation Challenge 2026 invites African nationals to submit innovative ideas addressing Africa’s energy future. The challenge aims to highlight, support, and accelerate low-carbon and energy solutions across tracks focusing on pan-African low-carbon innovation and lithium-ion battery design and value-chain development. Finalists will present at FEC 2026 in Accra, Ghana, with opportunities for cash prizes, mentorship, and incubation support.

Cash prizes, mentorship, and incubation support through ACEP’s Climate Innovation Hub, with potential exposure to policymakers, investors, and industry leaders.

African nationals may apply at any stage from a working model to a pilot-tested concept, and applicants must be aged 15 to 35.

Submit an application for the Innovation Challenge; applications reviewed on a rolling basis with multi-stage selection, including virtual interviews and an Innovathon, culminating in a Final Pitch at FEC 2026.
