The EEAS Traineeship in Delegations of the European Union is a professional traineeship designed for students and young graduates to gain hands-on experience in EU diplomacy and international affairs. It provides structured practical training in diplomatic missions of the EU worldwide, with opportunities to support policy research, drafting, event organisation, and observation of coordination meetings.

Eligibility depends on the traineeship pillar, but generally includes funded traineeships for young graduates with a Bachelor’s degree and less than one year of full-time professional experience, and unfunded compulsory traineeships open to students in the host country.
