MIT Summer Research Program (MSRP) 2026

The MIT Summer Research Program (MSRP) is an 8-week research experience for outstanding undergraduates hosted on the MIT campus. It provides a fully supported research opportunity with stipends, housing, travel support, mentoring, and preparation for graduate study, across fields including engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, biology, economics, and social sciences.

Stipend, housing, travel support, mentoring, professional development workshops, poster presentation and research symposium, and preparation for graduate study.

Undergraduate students (full-time) who are sophomores, juniors, or non-graduating seniors by the start of the program, with a minimum GPA of 3.5, and interest in graduate study or research.
