Academy of International Affairs North Rhine-Westphalia (AIA NRW) Fellowship 2027-2028

The Academy of International Affairs North Rhine-Westphalia (AIA NRW) Fellowship invites outstanding scholars (post-doc level and upwards) and practitioners from politics, diplomacy, media, business, and civil society to undertake a fellowship in Bonn for a duration between three and ten months. Applicants can choose between two tracks: Academic, focusing on scholarly research and policy-relevant contributions, and Practitioner’s, focusing on practical perspectives on international politics. The program provides accommodation, travel support, office space, research infrastructure, and budgets for research expenses, with fellowship duration determined by project scope and funding.
