The UNNF Fellowship Programme is an advanced, fully funded opportunity for mid-career professionals from developing states. It supports ocean policy implementation, maritime conservation, and marine governance in line with UNCLOS and the 2030 Agenda. The 2026 cohort spans nine months across training at the UN and a research placement at a renowned academic institution, with mentorship and professional development components.

Eligibility

Applicants must be aged 25-45, hold a first university degree or equivalent, have advanced academic and research capability, be mid-level government officials or professionals in related fields, and come from a developing country with no conflicting obligations.
