Youth Energy Efficiency Leadership Award 2026

The International Energy Agency (IEA), in collaboration with Natural Resources Canada, is launching the inaugural Youth Energy Efficiency Leadership Award. The competition recognises youth-led initiatives that advance energy efficiency and provides winners with sponsorship to attend the 11th Annual Global Conference on Energy Efficiency in Montreal, Canada, in June 2026.

Opportunity to present projects in a live pitch, participate in conference sessions, engage with energy experts, and gain visibility across IEA platforms; full funding to travel to the event.

Applicants should be aged 18-29 years old; must be able to communicate in English or French; available to travel to Montreal, Canada; must have a valid passport or be able to obtain one in time.

Selection results announced in May 2026.
