European Committee of the Regions Young Elected Politicians (YEP) Programme

The European Committee of the Regions (CoR) Young Elected Politicians (YEP) Programme connects locally or regionally elected politicians in the EU or EU candidate countries with CoR members and fellow politicians. The programme aims to help participants network, exchange best practices, gain insights into EU legislation and funding opportunities, and engage with EU policy-making. The 2025 YEP programme runs through spring 2026 with activities scheduled throughout the year, and alumni opportunities after the first year.

Networking with YEPs from other EU regions and politicians, exchange of best practices, understanding EU opportunities, a platform to speak on behalf of regions in EU policy-making, and opportunities to participate in EU policy discussions and events.

You must have been elected by direct universal suffrage at regional or local level in a Member State of the European Union or an EU Candidate Country, be born after 1 January 1990, not hold a CoR mandate, have a good level of English, and complete the application form.
