The Arms Control Negotiation Academy (ACONA) Fellowship is a 12-month, high-level professional development program for a competitively selected cohort of rising international security experts and practitioners. The program includes three negotiation boot camps, a Certificate in Arms Control Negotiation, and membership in the ACONA network. Costs cover economy travel and double-room accommodation during the third boot camp, course materials, and some meals; visa costs and additional personal expenses are not funded.

Eligibility

ACONA welcomes applications by highly qualified candidates of all nationalities who have 3-5 years of advanced professional or research experience in arms control, negotiation, mediation, or international peace and security. The strongest applicants show several years of experience, international exposure, an advanced degree, and public recognition of their achievements.
