The SEACAF Research Fellowships offer an annual cohort of early-career researchers and advocates for ten to twelve months of structured inquiry, mentorship, and peer exchange to produce original research and policy proposals on academic freedom in Southeast Asia. The program supports six research fellowships under specified themes and provides funding per project.

Eligibility
Applicants should hold at least a Master’s degree and be early-career or mid-career researchers with 3-5 years of relevant experience; current affiliation with a higher education or research institution is preferred.
Application
Submit research proposals under one of three priority themes; applications can be submitted as an individual or a team (minimum three members for team application).
