Allan Gray Makers StartUp Academy 2025

The Allan Gray Makers Startup Academy is an intensive 8-month incubator program designed for aspiring artisan entrepreneurs in plumbing and electrical trades. It provides specialized entrepreneurship training, hands-on learning, mentorship, and access to resources to help participants launch or grow their ventures, with ongoing support after completion.

Comprehensive training in entrepreneurial, industry, technical, business, and market readiness; access to a network of successful entrepreneurs and industry experts; ongoing mentorship and support throughout the programme; lifelong support through the association after completion.

Applicants should be aged 18-35 and either unemployed or self-employed (not studying). They must have a relevant trade (Electrical/Plumbing) and be a qualified electrician or plumber with a trade test, or have 3 years of work experience in the relevant trade and be ready to take the trade test, or have an N2 certificate with 3 years of work experience in the electrical or plumbing trade.
