The World Health Organization offers the Global Internship Programme to provide students and recent graduates with hands-on experience in WHO's technical and administrative programmes, contributing to public health. Interns gain exposure to areas such as public health operations, communications, HR, and external relations, with opportunities across WHO offices worldwide. The programme includes benefits such as medical insurance and a living allowance for eligible interns, and lasts 6 to 24 weeks depending on unit needs.

Eligibility

Applicants must be at least 20 years old, be enrolled in or recently graduated (within 18 months) from a recognized university, have completed at least 3 years of full-time study, be fluent in at least one working language of the office, hold the nationality of a WHO Member State, not be related to a WHO staff member, and not have previously participated in WHO’s Internship Program.
