Warwick Doctoral College PGR Scholarship Competitions

The Warwick Doctoral College Postgraduate Research (PGR) Scholarship Competition is one of the UK’s largest centralized doctoral funding schemes. A single application automatically places candidates into consideration for multiple funding opportunities, with successful applicants receiving full tuition coverage, a living stipend, and researcher development support, and in some cases additional research funding.

Full tuition fee coverage; maintenance stipend for living costs; professional development opportunities; potential additional research/training grants for some schemes; eligibility for part-time or full-time study depending on visa status.

Applicants must apply for an eligible postgraduate research program at Warwick starting October 2027, not already be enrolled in a PGR program unless allowed by a scheme, and be of any nationality or fee status, with strong academic records, references, and a well-developed research proposal.

Submit a course application by 8 December 2026 and a scholarship application by 11 December 2026, then await results (by 2 March 2027).
