The Youth, Peace and Security Internship 2026 is a six-month placement offered by UNFPA in Dakar, Senegal. It targets young professionals interested in peacebuilding, development, and youth engagement, supporting research, project implementation, advocacy, and partnerships related to youth engagement in peacebuilding and conflict prevention.

Eligibility

Applicants must be enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor’s or postgraduate programme, demonstrate interest in development, peace, security and youth engagement, have strong research skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and be proficient in French and English.
