About this opportunity
The Sector transition: UKRI policy fellowships 2026 is an 18-month fellowship in the United Kingdom that places researchers at the research-policy interface. It supports knowledge exchange between academia and policy through embedding fellows with host partners and provides training, mentorship, and cohort activities. There are three pathways and funding from £180,000 to £280,000 distributed across fellowships.

Eligibility
Applicants must hold a doctorate or show equivalent postdoctoral-level research experience; some roles may require security and nationality checks and right-to-work in the UK by 1 May 2027.
