YIM Macro Research Fellowship 2026-2027

The YIM Macro Research Fellowship is an academic year-long program from Fall 2026 to Spring 2027 designed for social science students who are ready to move beyond the classroom and into real policy work. Fellows develop and produce an original policy brief, receive monthly mentorship from a professional, and have a chance to present their research in Washington, DC. The program provides mentorship, professional networking, and a fully-funded trip including travel and lodging for the Washington, D.C. presentation.

Open to U.S.-based undergraduate students, graduate students, and recent graduates. They generally define “youth” as individuals under 30 and seek individuals in Social Work, Psychology, Public Policy, Public Health, and related fields.
