Jack Pearce Research Scholarship 2026

The Jack Pearce Research Scholarship is a postgraduate scholarship offered by Victoria University of Wellington Foundation, providing funding to a History Master’s by thesis or PhD student. It supports postgraduate research in History in New Zealand and covers tuition and living/research costs for one awardee each year.

Tuition coverage plus stipend for living and research costs; supports postgraduate study in History for one year (2026–27).

Applicants must be enrolled (or intending to enroll) in a Master’s by thesis or PhD in History at Victoria University of Wellington. Domestic and international students are eligible; part-time funding is pro-rated; Masters by thesis candidates are prioritized, with PhD consideration if no suitable Master’s candidate is found.
