About this opportunity
The Democracy Camp is a five-day intercultural exchange focused on democracy, sustainability, intersectionality, and Europe, bringing together young people from multiple European countries. Participants collaborate to explore participation tools, learn about democratic best practices, and develop skills for youth participation and project leadership. A youth participation handbook will be produced co-authored by participants as a practical guide for youth participation and policy recommendations.
Benefits & funding
Participants join a five-day intercultural exchange, contribute to the Youth Participation Handbook, gain exposure to democratic practices and project development, and have travel costs covered up to €250.
Eligibility
Applicants must be between 16 and 26 years of age and comfortable speaking English for five days; applications from youth with fewer opportunities are given preference.
