Ferguson Scholarships

The Ferguson Scholarship provides full tuition fee coverage for selected postgraduate taught programmes, with an additional contribution toward living costs for international students from Africa and India. It is highly competitive, with only three awards available for the 2026/27 intake. The scholarship is funded by the Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust and aims to enable study in the UK for those who may not be able to pursue postgraduate education otherwise.

Full tuition fee coverage (£22,500) and £6,000 living costs for the 2026/27 academic year

Applicants must hold a conditional or unconditional offer for one of the eligible programmes and be a national of India or an African country. They must also have at least a 2:1 degree or equivalent and be classified as a self-funded student.

Apply to an eligible MSc/MPH programme via the university course portal and complete the Ferguson Scholarship webform before 29 May 2026
