About this opportunity
The Young and Emerging Leaders Project (YELP) 2026 is a fellowship program of six months organized by the LéO Africa Institute. It brings together young, dynamic thought leaders from East Africa to train and orient them for leadership focused on shaping the next generation of leaders in East Africa, through three core seminars on Values, Ethics & Philosophy of Leadership; Political Economy & Development; and Media & Technology. The program emphasizes leadership development, innovation, and creating lasting impact through values-based leadership.

Eligibility
Applicants should be 18-35 years old, demonstrate leadership in their field, be committed to Africa’s development, be based in East Africa, and be available to attend all three seminars.
