German Parliament Scholarship Programme 2026 for Young Africans

The German Parliament Scholarship Programme invites politically and socially committed young graduates from specified African regions to Berlin for a four-week programme. The core component includes a one-week placement in the office of a Member of the German Bundestag, along with workshops and a project management session to develop ideas for promoting democracy and civil society at home. The programme provides a stipend, free accommodation, travel costs, and health and personal liability insurance.

Citizenship of a participating country and under the age of 30 at the start of the programme, with a university degree and good knowledge of German (at least B2).
