Information

The CBCF Congressional Fellowship Program is a 12-month policy training and leadership development fellowship for early-career policy professionals. Fellows work as full-time legislative aides and policy analysts, with placements in a Congressional office for six months and in a committee or subcommittee for the remaining six months, gaining hands-on public policy experience. The program provides salary and benefits for the duration of the fellowship, with a stated salary of $60,000.

Eligibility

Applicants should be early-career policy professionals with a master’s degree, doctoral degree, or juris doctorate and U.S. citizenship or a permit to work in the U.S. for the duration of the program; familiarity with the federal legislative process and related policy is expected.
