Information

The ECB Scholarship for Women supports female postgraduate students from low-income families pursuing studies in economics, statistics, computer science, and engineering at European universities. It combines financial support with mentoring, networking, and exposure to the ECB’s work in central banking and supervision.

Benefits

€10,000 financial award; study visit to the ECB, including events with the Women in Leadership Network; mentorship from an ECB economist or technical expert; networking with other recipients and alumni; insight into ECB activities in central banking and supervision.

Eligibility

Applicants must be female citizens of an EU country, hold or plan to begin a Master’s degree in Europe in eligible fields, demonstrate financial need, and have completed a Bachelor’s degree with excellent results.
