Youth Innovating Democracy Programme 2026

The Youth Innovating Democracy event brings together up to 120 young people to share perspectives on democracy, contribute ideas to strengthen democratic systems, and collaborate on innovative approaches to make democracy more inclusive and participatory. The event takes place at the European Youth Centre Strasbourg in June 2026, with accommodation and meals provided and travel costs covered by the Council of Europe.

Open to young people aged 18-35 who are representatives of youth organisations or networks, national or local youth councils, youth activists, youth centre staff, or youth delegates; able to work in English or French for the entire duration.
