Front Line Defenders Worldwide 2026

Information

The Frank Jennings Fellowship – April 2026 is a funded fellowship managed by Front Line Defenders. The Fellow spends three and a half months in Dublin, then a six-month internship at OHCHR in Geneva, followed by a further three months back with Front Line Defenders, focusing on human rights defenders and UN frameworks. Benefits include a stipend and various allowances, along with international exposure through work in Dublin and Geneva.

Eligibility

Applicants must have within current or one year since completion of a degree in human rights, social sciences, development or humanitarian studies, or a related field; native-level English and fluency in Spanish or French; strong oral and written communication; computer literacy; excellent drafting skills and knowledge of the UN system is desirable; must have permission to work in Ireland and Switzerland for the duration of the Fellowship.
