Brain Builders National Tertiary Institution Essay Competition 2026

The Brain Builders Youth Development Initiative (BBYDI) invites Nigerian tertiary institution students to enter a national essay competition focused on AI literacy and responsible technology use. Essays should engage with how artificial intelligence should be governed and applied in Nigeria, with emphasis on original analysis grounded in Nigerian realities. Winners will receive prize money and winning essays may be published in BBYDI’s advocacy materials.

Current students at Nigerian recognised tertiary institutions, aged 18-30, with a valid student ID, and submission of an original, unpublished essay.
