Senckenberg Global Fellowships 2026

The Senckenberg Global Fellowships support PhD students and postdoctoral researchers from the Global South to conduct short-term research at Senckenberg institutes in Germany for 3–6 months. Fellows gain access to Senckenberg’s collections, laboratories, and expert mentorship, with funding that includes a monthly stipend and travel support. The program aims to foster international research collaboration and knowledge exchange.

PhD students or postdoctoral researchers from countries in the Global South, pursuing a research project in a Senckenberg field, with a suitable host scientist.
