HEALENAE Fully Funded PhD Scholarships in Anthropology

The HEALENAE Doctoral Network is offering 15 fully funded PhD scholarships in Anthropology, focusing on health and environment across Africa and Europe. The program includes long-term fieldwork, annual training schools, writing retreats, and a six-month stay at a secondary university within the network. The application deadline is 1 March 2026 and successful applicants will study at one of the partner universities starting on 1 September 2026.

Applicants must meet the entry requirements of the recruiting university for their chosen project and be interested in health and environment in Africa and Europe. Applicants may apply for multiple projects but must submit separate applications for each university.
