Information

The Junior Professional Officer (JPO) Programme offers recent graduates and young professionals an opportunity to work in international organizations, focusing on development cooperation and policy implementation. It targets candidates from the Netherlands and eligible developing countries and places them in entry-level roles primarily within UN organizations. Assignments last up to 36 months and include a tailored learning track with a contract signed with the host organization.

Eligibility

Advanced university degree (Master’s) in a relevant field with at least 2 years of relevant work experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant work experience. Applicants must not have previously held a JPO position and must meet language and residency requirements.
