David Irvine Postgraduate Scholarship 2026

The David Irvine Postgraduate Scholarship provides support for PhD and MPhil students conducting cyber security research at CSCRC Participant Universities in Australia. Scholars gain access to CSIRO’s research environment, mentorship, and training opportunities to develop future leaders in Australia's cyber security ecosystem.

Stipends/top-up payments, training allowances, access to CSIRO research facilities, coaching and project supervision, opportunities for mentorship and participation in CSCRC-related activities.

Applicants must hold First Class Honours or equivalent and be admitted into a full-time PhD or MPhil at a CSCRC Participant University in Australia; must be within 12 months of starting their PhD or within 6 months of starting their MPhil; must be a domestic or international student residing in Australia with a valid visa; must have a tuition fee waiver and at least one confirmed university supervisor.
