Academic Accelerator Fellowship 2026

Academic Accelerator Fellowships in Germany for PhD researchers from under-represented regions and communities. The fellowship lasts 12 months and provides structured mentorship, training, and professional development at Freie Universität Berlin as part of the SCRIPTS cluster. Up to three fully funded positions are available for scholars starting September 2026.

Fully funded 12-month fellowship with stipend, formal mentoring, tailored training, professional development, networking, and integration into the Berlin Graduate School for Global and Transregional Studies.

Applicants must be doctoral researchers in the second or third year from underrepresented regions/communities, enrolled in a PhD program outside Germany for the full fellowship duration, and have PhD research aligned with the SCRIPTS agenda.
