Simon Fraser University Graduate Research Assistantship 2026

Simon Fraser University offers funded 4-year graduate Research Assistantships for MSc and PhD students. The program provides stipends and potential additional funding through Graduate Fellowship and Teaching Assistantship programs, with opportunities to publish and access exclusive datasets and equipment.

Stipend for up to 4 years, potential to publish, mentorship and supervision, access to exclusive datasets and equipment, possible collaboration opportunities.

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in Physics, Geophysics, Engineering, or related field, demonstrate strong research interest in remote sensing, and meet English-language proficiency requirements. Applicants should be capable of programming in C++ and Python and have strong scientific writing skills.
