FG Oxford-TVET IDEAS Solar Training Program 2026

The FG Oxford-TVET IDEAS Solar Training Program 2026 is a flagship TVET initiative to equip unemployed Nigerian youths with practical, job-ready skills in solar and inverter installation, maintenance, and related electrical principles. It includes hands-on training, entrepreneurial guidance, and a recognised certification upon completion. The program is run in partnership with Oxford-TVET as part of the IDEAS project by the Federal Ministry of Education.

Hands-on mastery of solar and inverter technologies; practical skills in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting; entrepreneurial guidance on starting and managing a solar installation business; recognised certification upon completion; access to mentorship, industry networks, and potential job opportunities.

Must be a Nigerian citizen, must be currently unemployed, must be available for the full six-month intensive training, must fall within the youth category defined by Federal Ministry guidelines, and no prior experience in solar installation required.
