Applications are open for the Mark Foundation Emerging Leader Awards 2026. The awards support innovative cancer research from the next generation of leaders, awarding grants to outstanding early career investigators to support high-impact, high-risk projects distinct from their current research portfolio.

Benefits

Grant funding totaling $1,000,000 USD over four years for the proposed research.

Eligibility

MD, PhD, or an equivalent degree is required. Open to scientists worldwide; non-profit academic/research institutions worldwide. Applicants must have established their independent laboratories three to eight years prior to December 31, 2026.

Application

Letters of Intent must be submitted through the online application system by April 30, 2026; full applications by invitation. Applicants provide project title, project summary, biosketch, and list of current grants.
