Summer Scholarships & Preparatory Research School 2026 at Lund University in Sweden

Lund University offers two summer opportunities for 2026: the Summer Research Scholarship (a 10-week summer research project with partial funding) and the Preparatory Research School (a fully funded, structured 10-week summer project with pre-training). The programs are aimed at medical and health sciences students and provide research training, access to university labs, and a stipend to support living costs during the summer research period.

SEK 27,200 non-taxable stipend for June and July, 10-week structured research training, access to research labs and supervision, examination via poster presentation, and early exposure to research careers. The Preparatory Research School includes full funding for its 10-week summer project.

Students at any level of medical study are eligible for the Summer Research Scholarship; master students in their final semester are not eligible for that scholarship. Non-EU/EEA students may apply but must pay tuition fees. Applicants do not need a supervisor at the time of applying.
