Axel Adler Scholarship

The Axel Adler Scholarship is a tuition fee waiver offered by the University of Gothenburg for international students applying to Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programs. It is funded by the Adlerbertska Scholarship Foundation, Adlerbertska Grant Foundation, and the Swedish Council for Higher Education, and aims to support talented students pursuing on-campus studies at the university. The scholarship covers full tuition fees for the duration of the degree program, with no provision for living costs or travel.

Open to international students who are required to pay tuition fees in Sweden and have applied to an on-campus program at the University of Gothenburg as their first priority.

Apply for admission via universityadmissions.se by 15 January 2026; pay the application fee and confirm eligibility by 2 February 2026; if eligible, wait for an invitation around 10 February 2026 to apply for the Axel Adler Scholarship and submit the supporting documents.
