The King’s Foundation Oxford DPhil Scholarships support outstanding researchers pursuing evidence-based projects at the intersection of nature, health, and community wellbeing. Hosted at the University of Oxford and administered through the Centre for Evidence-based Medicine (CEBM), scholars undertake a DPhil in Primary Care Health Sciences and complete a placement at The King’s Foundation Health & Wellbeing Centre at Highgrove, with an emphasis on how social, economic, and environmental factors influence wellbeing.

Eligibility

Worldwide applicants are welcome; applicants should have a first degree in a relevant discipline; not open to candidates wishing to defer entry to 2027–28.

Application

Submit your full University of Oxford DPhil application for the DPhil in Primary Care Health Sciences by 20 February 2026; include research proposal, CV, transcripts, and references; optional information seminar (deadline 19 January 2026) and online sessions on 20 January 2026.
