The City of Johannesburg (CoJ) Bursary Program provides financial assistance for full-time undergraduate study to South African youths residing in Johannesburg. A total of 200 bursaries are awarded to qualified applicants pursuing undergraduate degrees in accredited South African tertiary institutions, based on merit and residency.
Benefits & funding
Tuition and registration fees, prescribed books, and study materials up to R40,000 per academic year; renewable annually based on performance.
Eligibility
South African citizens permanently residing in Johannesburg, aged between 18 and 35, admitted or applying to accredited South African tertiary institutions, pursuing a qualification of at least one year, with strong academic records.
