The Mastercard Cambridge University African Scholars Programme is a fully funded Master’s scholarship at the University of Cambridge for African students from economically marginalised backgrounds. It covers tuition, accommodation, living costs, travel and visa expenses, health cover, a laptop allowance, and the option of dependent allowances, supporting selected scholars to pursue a one-year Master’s course and develop leadership for climate-resilient futures.

Eligibility

Must be a citizen of an African country and ordinarily resident in an African country; must be applying for a one-year Master’s course at the University of Cambridge.

Apply for admission to Cambridge through the course directory and indicate you are applying for funding; select the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Programme in the funding section and submit the required personal statement.
