Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is offering a fully funded PhD scholarship in Quantum Transport in Mixed Ionic-Electronic Conductors (OMIECs). The project aims to advance biosensing, neuromorphic devices, and sustainable electronics, with supervision from QUT and CSIRO researchers.

Benefits

Stipend of $40,000 per year (tax-free) for up to 3.5 years (with possible 6-month extension); tuition fee sponsorship for up to 4 years; expert supervision by named faculty and CSIRO; research environment at QUT.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet QUT’s PhD entry requirements, enroll as a full-time internal student (unless part-time/external approval is granted), commence by 1 March 2026, and have a background in physics, materials science, nanotechnology, or electronic engineering.
